Solar Electric Facility with Parabolic Mirrors

Solar Energy Generating Systems (SEGS) consists of nine solar power plants in California's Mojave Desert. The installation uses parabolic trough solar thermal technology along with natural gas to produce electricity. It is the largest solar energy generating facility in the world.
