The Parachute Jump at the Coney Island amusement park in Brooklyn, NYC

The Parachute Jump is located on the Coney Island boardwalk in Brooklyn, NY. Originally known as the Life Savers Parachute Jump, it debuted at the 1939 New York World's Fair. Although the ride has been closed since 1968, it remains a Coney Island Landmark and is recognized by the National Register of Historic Places.
