Temple of Dendur in the Egyptian Wing of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC

The Temple of Dendur is in the Egyptian wing at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC. It was given to the United States by the Egyptian government in 1965 and is the only Egyptian temple in the western hemisphere. The temple was reassembled in the Metropolitan as it appeared on the banks of the Nile.
